Solver selectors and log streams are read at each run, so changing one re-simulates without recompiling. The model's output goes to the browser console.
FMI 3.0 wasm component, built around the module this model was compiled to — the export links an adapter onto it rather than translating again. Co-Simulation embeds the solver; Model Exchange leaves integration to the importer. A native platform adds a machine-code build of the same component, so importers that cannot run WebAssembly load the FMU too.
Co-Simulation on its own is translated separately, so that export takes as long as a compile: it needs the output derivatives fmi3GetOutputDerivatives answers from, which only a pure Co-Simulation translation carries.
